I would like to make something clear about this blog: I've always had a genuine interest for anything musical that doesn't belong to the mainstream, either because they're songs that aren't played on the radio anymore or never got and never will get airplay in the first place. Or the artists are self-taught, not musically trained and pretty much make music according to their own tastes, abilities and standards, without taking into account what the general public has been conditioned to hear by the majors and the media. In turn, this makes their musical endeavours idiosyncratic, interesting, personal and completely unique.
So the intention behind this blog has never EVER been to deride or mock these artists and their music but to share the enjoyment and pleasure I and the other contributors to 'Musical Vomit' feel in listening to them.
In this day and age, when any idiot has an opinion about anything and feels not only empowered into writing dismissively or contemptuously about something but, also entitled to share their negativity and hatred with everybody else, we at 'Musical Vomit' will only write about music we genuinely love and find interesting.

Je voudrais mettre les choses au point au sujet de ce blog. Je l'ai nommé 'Musical Vomit' en référence à des oeuvres musicales qui n'entrent pas dans les canons musicaux courants, actuels ou standard mais qui néammoins sont uniques, idiosyncratiques et donc intéressantes, du moins de mon point de vue et de celui des autres contributeurs de ce blog.
En cet âge où n'importe quel imbécile a une opinion sur n'importe quoi et non seulement veut mais peut infliger ladite opinion à n'importe qui, la raison qui me pousse à écrire un article sur une chanson ou un artiste n'est pas la volonté de m'en moquer et de tourner leurs efforts en dérision; bien au contraire, j'aime les oeuvres musicales qui ne tombent pas dans le mainstream. Donc, si j'en parler dans ce blog, ce n'est pas pour me moquer ou rabaisser ces oeuvres mais au contraire parce que je veux exprimer la joie et le plaisir ressentis à les écouter et à les faire partager.
